- General Statement: Contains general information about the topic to be discussed in the text.
- Sequenced Explanation : an explanation of why and how the event occurred. When writing an article, it should be separated into several sequences or sections. Of course you don't want to make the reader dizzy reading a very long paragraph.Connect paragraphs with cause-and-effect relationships of the phenomena being written about. Paragraphs are written in a logical order and explain why or how something happened. The explanation in order must contain a series of events, actions, causes or processes for the phenomenon. Events that occur are also listed in order of time or cause. All this must be written in detail and accurately. Usually the sequence of events written will develop by explaining how events occurred over a period of time.
- Closing / Concluding Statement: the conclusion of the story. Actually closing is not listed in the generic structure of the explanation text.

๐พUse sentences with clear subjects and use the verb agreement.

๐ญUse conjunctions to link time sequences in causal order. For example 'after', 'finally', 'so', 'then' and others.
๐Using passive voice which is useful for emphasizing the focus of events that are taking place.
