helloo everyone back again with me Natasya, how are u today?i hope everything it's always fine and don't forget to always spread happiness each other. So for today's topic i want to talk about Text Procedure but for part 2. So let's begin ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ‘พ๐Ÿ’Ÿ

Realistic drawing is difficult, but luckily there are other, more forgiving styles out there. For example, the dog style has clear rules, and you can use it to draw literally everything.

In this tutorial, I will show you how to draw simple dog animals, and you'll learn how to create more just by applying the same rules to your own drawings.

๐“ถ๐“ช๐“ฝ๐“ฎ๐“ป๐“ฒ๐“ช๐“ต๐“ผ :
  • A sheet of paper
  • A pencil
  • Anything darker than the pencil (a thin marker, a gel pen, a ballpoint pen, etc.)

๐“ผ๐“ฝ๐“ฎ๐“น๐“ผ :

1. Start with an oval that will be the body. Remember: draw it lightly, don't press too hard. This is just a sketch!
2. Let's add the head now. It should be round and about twice as big as the body.
3. Add the legs. The forelegs can be drawn with simple straight lines, but in the hind legs draw the lines in the feet only. Add simple "paws" at the end of each line.
4. Add some volume to the forelegs and the feet. They should be quite puffed.
5. Time for the thigh. Make it very round, connecting directly with the foot.
6. Now we're going to create a cute face for our wolf. Draw an oval muzzle at the bottom of the head. It must be much, much smaller than the head to achieve a proper "cute" feeling.
7. Cross the muzzle with a wide smile.
8. Add an oval nose.
9. Time for the eyes. Draw the lower part right next to the muzzle.
10. Make the eyes big, but leave a lot of space for the forehead—a huge forehead will make it look younger and cuter.
11. Add the pupils.
12. The ears can be either huge or tiny—both extremes will add to the cute feeling.
13. Now the tail. If you can draw it all with one shape, go ahead. If not, here's a trick: start with a circle
and add an oval, finish with a triangle.
14. Take your darker tool now and finish the details. This time you're allowed to press harder, but be careful—these are the final lines! You don't need to copy me—just look at your base and add some wolf features to it. It will look cute no matter what you do!

๏ผด๏ผฉ๏ผฐ๏ผณ :
  • The smaller the drawings, the easier it will be for you to keep the correct proportions. Draw all the animals on one sheet and treat them like small practice sketches rather than artworks on their own.
  • Don't try to draw the shapes with a single continuous line. Watch the videos to see how I build the shapes out of curves, connecting them only when I see what I was trying to draw.
  • The base for each drawing should be drawn with a pencil, with subtle lines, without pushing the tool too hard. This way the lines will not be visible when you finish the drawing with dark outlines. Watch the videos to see both phases of drawing.
so here the video :

News Item Text Part 3

helloo everyone back again with me Natasya, how are u today?i hope everything it's always fine and don't forget to always spread happiness each other. So for today's topic i want to talk about News Item Text but for part 3. So let's begin ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ‘พ๐Ÿ’Ÿ

News item text is a text which informs readers about events of the day. The events are considered newsworthy or important.

It means if there is an important event that should be known by many people, then this event deserves news. Well, the news text is called the news item text. However, if there are events that people do not deserve, then they are not definitely worth to be news.

Each text must have its own characteristics to distinguish it from other types of text. The characteristics of news item text are as follows:

๐Ÿ’ขThe content of the text focuses on an important event or event

๐Ÿ’ฅThe language used is short but concise

๐Ÿ’ฃSometimes it starts with the name of the city or the name of the media that published it. For example Jakarta - ….

๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’ฃ  แ—ชฮตแถ ฮนล‡ฮนั‚Ⓘ๐•†๐“  ๐Ÿ’ข☝

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, news item text is a text which informs readers about events of the day. learn to be a reliable journalist.

☮♨  โ„“เธ„ⓝg๐ฎเธ„แŽถ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐”ผ๐€๐“‰๐•ฆ๏ผฒ๏ฝ…แ”•  ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ

1. Using simple past tense

If you are complete in understanding the simple past tense through the article Simple Past Tense: Definition, Formulas, Functions, and Example Sentences, of course you can immediately understand the linguistic features of this one.

Simple past tense is a form of sentence to express an event in the past. You see, new news is written when the incident has occurred

FYI, sometimes writers and writers rely on the simple present tense in making headlines or titles to give the impression that the information to be conveyed is new and urgent.

Oh yes, sometimes news item text can also be written in simple present tense to tell a fact that is still ongoing today.

2. Using saying verbs

Let's look again at the generic structure of news item text points, guys. There, there are example sentences that end with "Raina said." Well, Raina is a person's name, while said is an example of saying verbs. So, saying verbs are identical verbs that occur in conversational activities.

Examples of saying verbs are, respond, say, answer, ask, reply, inquire, tell, etc. However, in news item text, generally the saying verbs will be written in the past tense. For example, say becomes said, then tell becomes told, etc. Saying verbs are also known as reporting verbs in the use of reported speech.

In Indonesian, you will often find saying verbs such as reported, said, said, told, etc.

3. Using action verbs

Action verbs or dynamic verbs are verbs that refer to an action that is visible to others. As explained in the article 11 Types of English Verbs (Verbs) and Examples, action verbs are also known as dynamic verbs.

Let's look at the following example sentences:

On Tuesday, Didi was taken to Bandung for treatment. Muthia said no diseases were detected but he died on Friday.

On Tuesday, Didi was taken to Bandung for treatment. Muthia said no disease had been detected but she died on Friday.

In the sentence above, there is taken which means "to be brought" and treatment which means treatment.

4. Using adverbs: time, place, manner

Do you remember what adverbs mean? Adverbs are adverbs that describe verbs, adjectives, or other words. In this case, the adverbs used are time, place, and manner.

Adverbs of time are adverbs of time, place is an adverb of place, and adverbs of manner are adverbs to express how an activity can be done or how an event can occur.

Don't get me wrong, guys. News item text and report text are different. If the report text is a text that reports the results of observations, research, observations, studies of objects, animals, people, or a place. It is different from news item text which only informs important events or events.

Writing news item text can be a practice of writing in English. Here's an example of news item text that you can study well:

Hundreds of thousands affected by floods, landslides as heaviest rain in 60 years hits southern China

Main Events:

Almost half a million people have been affected by floods and landslides in the Chinese province of Guangdong, according to authorities, after parts of southern China were hit by the heaviest downpours in 60 years over the weekend.

Flooding caused by the torrential rain has forced 177,600 people to relocate, destroyed 1,729 houses, damaged 27.13 hectares of crop and caused losses of more than $250 million, Guangdong's Department of Emergency Management said Tuesday.

Backgrounds:

Guangdong is one of at least seven provinces where the record rainfall has caused severe erosions and flooded roads, according to state media. In southwestern Guizhou province, swollen rivers spilled over roads, sweeping away cars and homes, videos on social media showed. The downpours come amid warnings by experts that extreme weather is becoming more frequent.

Precipitation in Guangxi, Guangdong and Fujian reached its highest since 1961, local weather bureaus said on Saturday, as those areas recorded an average rainfall of 621 millimeters (24.4 inches) in the 46 day period from May 1 and June 15, according to state news Xinhua agency.

That figure is equal to more than 90% of the countrywide average of 672.1 millimeters for the whole of 2021, based on data by the National Climate Center. Weather experts say conditions are ripe for further heavy rainstorms in the south of the country and heatwaves in the north.

"Cold and warm air has converged over southern China, and the two sides have entered a deadlock and a tug of war," Wang Weiyue, an analyst at weather.com.cn, an arm of the China Meteorological Administration, told Reuters.

Heavy rain is forecast to persist until Tuesday in the southern provinces of Guizhou, Jiangxi, Anhui, Zhejiang and Guangxi and then move northward.

๐Ÿ’ฌ【๏ผค๏ฝ…๏ฝ†๏ฝ‰๏ฝŽ๏ฝ‰๏ฝ”๏ฝ‰๏ฝ๏ฝŽ】๐Ÿ’ฌ

News item text is a text which informs readers about events of the day. The events are considered newsworthy or important.

It means if there is an important event that should be known by many people, then this event deserves news. Well, the news text is called the news item text. However, if there are events that people do not deserve, then they are not definitely worth to be news.

♬๐Ÿ‘บ  แต๐•–แถฐ๐‘’๐“‡ฤฎโ„‚ ลžลคโ„๏ฝ•Ⓒ๐•‹รนัแบธ  ✌⛵

  • Main events

Taking from the word "main" which means main, then "event" which means incident, then the main event is a paragraph that contains a summary of an event, aka an important event that is a highlight to be conveyed to the reader.

In this case, one that the author should consider is actuality. Are the events to be discussed up to date or “recent”? The reason is, the latest information will certainly have a higher value than the old news.

Another element that can be considered when writing a main event is the importance or not of an event, and how much influence it has on readers.

For example, the police issued a rule that the public is prohibited from wearing sandals while riding a motorcycle has a greater influence than the marriage information of a celebrity.

  • Elaboration/Background Event

You still remember, right, what must be met in order for the text to qualify as news? Yep, the contents must include 5W + 1H (what, where, when, who, why) and how.

In short, this event background contains the background of the events that occurred. Starting from what and who was involved, where, when, why, and how the incident happened. This structure must be written in full so that readers can understand the entire text easily and the news value can be conveyed properly.

  • Resources of Information (Source)

Have you ever read a sentence that states the testimony or expressions of other people in the news text? For example, the news about the death of celebrity Didi Petet follows:

“He just arrived home on May 10 after attending the exhibition. In that city, he collapsed and lost consciousness and returned home in a wheelchair,” Raina said.

(“She only arrived home on May 10 after attending the exhibition. In that city, she fainted and lost consciousness and returned home in a wheelchair,” says Raina.)

The news item text function is also known as a social function or social function, namely what is the purpose of writing a text for the general public. Well, nothing but news item text aims to provide information to readers about an important event or event of value.

In addition, with the news item text, people can determine their attitude as a response or response to a news item. For example, with news about police regulations that require motorcyclists to wear shoes, the public will be more orderly for reasons of safety and also avoid sanctions.

๐Ÿ’ขUsing the present tense, because the explanation text discusses a fact.

๐Ÿ’ฅUsing complex noun groups, it aims to build detailed descriptions for example, 'Threatening', 'Rampaging' or 'Enormous' and many more.

๐Ÿ’ซUsing abstract nouns such as 'heat', 'earthquakes', 'floods', and others.

๐Ÿ‘พUse sentences with clear subjects and use the verb agreement.

๐Ÿ’ฃUsing action verbs to explain the cause of the phenomenon under discussion such as 'from' or 'started from'.

๐Ÿ’žUse an adverbial phrase from a time and place to tell when and where the incident took place. For example. ‘Its is to be found in Sulawesi, Indonesia’.

๐Ÿ’ญUse conjunctions to link time sequences in causal order. For example 'after', 'finally', 'so', 'then' and others.

๐Ÿ’ŸUsing passive voice which is useful for emphasizing the focus of events that are taking place.

๐Ÿ’ฌUsing conjunctions of time, for example, 'when', 'as'. This time conjunction is to order and connect events so that the written text is more fluid. This time conjunction can be placed first in a sentence to focus the reader's attention.

namely: the use of passive and tense sentences.
Rules for changing Active Voice to Passive one:

  • Change the subject into Subject
  • Put the suitable helping verb or auxiliary verb. In case the helping verb isgiven, use the same verb but note that the helping verb given agrees with the Objects.
  • Change the Verb into the past participle form
  • Add the preposition by
  • Change the Subject into Object
Examples:
a) A letter is written by me.
b) American was discovered by Columbus
c) Macbeth was written by Shakespeare
d) The door was opened by his son
e) The new ideas were suggested by Edo

How Do Fish Breathe?

All animals breathe just like humans. How they breathe, however, varies. Breathe by inhaling oxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide as waste. Air flows in through the human’s nose or mouth into the lungs where oxygen is transported through the blood to the rest of the human body. Humans need air to breathe. So, what does that mean for animals that live in the water?

Like humans, fish also need oxygen and emit carbon dioxide to survive. But using the lungs, these creatures that live in water use organs called gills. The gills are organs located on the sides of the fish’s head. These gills have many small blood vessels called capillaries.

When the fish opens, the water will flow over the gills. After that, the blood in the capillaries will pick up oxygen that is soluble in water. The blood then moves through the fish’s body to provide oxygen throughout the body, just like in humans.

All bony fish also have a bony plate called an operculum. This operculum is useful for opening and closing to protect the gills. Breathing underwater is difficult. The air we breathe has an oxygen concentration of 200,000 parts per million.

Whereas water only has a concentration of 4 to 8 parts per million. This means fish need to flow a lot of water over their gills to get the amount of oxygen to survive. In addition, the gills are very useful for extracting the oxygen needed by fish.

Breathing becomes more difficult as the oxygen concentration decreases. Low levels of oxygen concentration make it impossible for animals to survive. Although it can occur naturally, it can also be created by human activity.

When pollution is high, such as waste dumped into the sea, this will cause algae blooms which then die and decompose. Furthermore, it will cause the zone to have a low oxygen concentration level of oxygen.

Fish need clean water to breathe. Similarly, humans need clean air to breathe. Humans can help these gilled creatures to thrive by keeping their habitat free of pollutants.

  • General Statement: Contains general information about the topic to be discussed in the text.
  • Sequenced Explanation : an explanation of why and how the event occurred. When writing an article, it should be separated into several sequences or sections. Of course you don't want to make the reader dizzy reading a very long paragraph.Connect paragraphs with cause-and-effect relationships of the phenomena being written about. Paragraphs are written in a logical order and explain why or how something happened. The explanation in order must contain a series of events, actions, causes or processes for the phenomenon. Events that occur are also listed in order of time or cause. All this must be written in detail and accurately. Usually the sequence of events written will develop by explaining how events occurred over a period of time.
  • Closing / Concluding Statement: the conclusion of the story. Actually closing is not listed in the generic structure of the explanation text.
